Last Resort: First Look at ABC's New Exotic Island Drama

From executive producer Shawn Ryan ("The Shield," "The Unit," "The Chicago Code") comes Last Resort, ABC's new drama centered around a group of naval officers who have gone Awol.

We open Last Resort 500 feet beneath the ocean's surface, where the U.S. ballistic missile submarine Colorado is patrolling the waters.  One day, a message comes over a special radio channel, one that is only designed to be used if their homeland has been wiped out.  Their orders: fire nuclear weapons at Pakistan.

But Captain Marcus Chaplin (Andre Braugher) isn’t eager to start a war and he demands confirmation of the orders.  In response to his “insubordination”, the White House relieves him of duty.  His replacement, Xo Sam Kendal (Scott Speedman), finds himself facing the same decision. Like his captain, Kendal also refuses to fire without confirmation.  The Colorado is then targeted,
